COURSE OVERVIEW


From incredible Broadway Shows to The Hate U Give and No Ashes in the Fire, the U.S. has inspired some of the world’s most thought-provoking literature. We will learn about strength and resilience in D.C. with visits to the Holocaust Memorial Museum and the National Museum of African American History & Culture.
In New York, we will celebrate the Harlem Renaissance’s lasting influence on literature before taking in a show at the legendary Apollo Theatre. We will explore the best of New York with visits to Times Square, Museum of Moving Image, Chelsea and Greenwich Village!

Each day is thoughtfully planned to provide an unforgettable adventure that will teach lessons about the course, individuals and the world around.

MORNING ROUTINE
Students enjoy breakfast and review the itinerary for the day.
MORNING EXCURSION
Students learn about genocide and tolerance as they
visit the US holocaust museum and memorial.
LUNCH & FREE TIME
Students explore the Georgetown neighbourhood.
