• World Religions

Experience the beauty and diversity of our multi-faith global community as you observe a variety of religious traditions practiced in Toronto and New York City.

Start your religious educational journey in Canada’s most diverse city. Experience prayer service at St. James Anglican Cathedral in Toronto, the Midinah Masjib Mosque, St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church and the Temple Sinai Congregation.  Learn the horrific history of religious persecution during the Second World War at the Sarah and Chaim Neuberger Holocaust Education Centre.

Visit the Dodem Kanonhsa’ Centre to learn of initiatives based on harmony between the indigenous and non-indigenous in Canada. Take a guided tour of the spectacular Aga Khan Museum to learn more about Iranian and Islamic art and culture.

Venture off to New York City to see a new perspective on World Religions. Visit museums, the reflection pools at the National 9/11 Memorial & Museum, and the United Nations to develop knowledge which will enable you to understand more clearly how the world’s religious affairs impact secular society.

Cultivate greater acceptance as you witness the similarities and differences between various religious traditions and practices. Use your critical thinking skills and make connections to themes and perspectives reflected across world religions.
