• Spirit of America

Open to ALL Ontario High School Students!

Boston, New York City, Washington D.C.

Journey down the East Coast of the United States and experience the best the country has to offer! From The Crucible to The Hate U Give, the United States has inspired some of the world’s most thought-provoking literature, making it an ideal destination for earning an English credit.

Our students will travel from Harvard Square to the world-renowned monuments of Washington D.C. and into the bright lights of Broadway.

Arrive at Harvard University and become immersed in the ivy-league experience. Transport yourself back in time to the days of the American Revolution with a Freedom Trail Tour in the beautiful city of Boston. Learn haunted tales of the Salem Witch Trials as you continue your East Coast adventure!

Follow in the footsteps of characters from your novel and share in their experiences as you visit some of the same locations throughout your journey. Visit the bright lights and sleepless streets of beautiful New York City. Take in highlights that include a visit to the Museum of Modern Art, a cruise by the Statue of Liberty, and a live performance at the legendary Apollo Theater!

Continue to dive right into the deep history of the country by stopping at one of the Smithsonian Museums, the Newseum, and the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington D.C. Students have the opportunity to flex their critical thinking skills as they take in information from multiple sources.

Amidst all of these experiences we’ll also make time for a day at Six Flags Great Adventure and a Broadway Show!
