Immerse yourself in experiential learning as you assist in a coral replantation project with an environmental officer, hike through a rainforest village, and visit Levuka, the old capital of Fiji and also Fiji’s first UNESCO World Heritage Site. Explore the nature of Fiji as you swim through natural water holes at Colo-I-Suva Rainforest National Park and identify various bird and plant species in Fiji’s largest National Park.

Mandatory Program Dates
May 11, 2019: Orientation & First Class
Parents and students are required to attend the morning program orientation. Only students are required to attend the afternoon introductory class.
July 2 to July 4, 2019: Pre-Trip Online Classes
Students are required to complete and submit the pre-trip assignments. Students will be granted access to the online course and the pre-trip assignments during the orientation.
July 5 to July 25, 2019: Travel Days
Students are required to complete assignments as they visit sites and participate in the activities during the travel days. Students are also required to collect information for their summative assignment throughout the trip. The summative assignment is due prior to departing from Fiji.

Please note: It is EduTravel and school board policy that all students travelling on extended trips have both cancellation and medical insurance in place. A specialized student insurance protection plan will be automatically added to the cost of the program fee upon registration. Please know there is an option to opt out of the insurance policy by filling and returning in the “Insurance Opt-Out Form” along with proof of valid insurance coverage from another source.
