• Resource Management in Fiji

Open to ALL Ontario High School Students!

Enjoy the warm climate and captivating beauty of the South Pacific as you investigate interactions between natural systems and human systems in Fiji. This tight-knit community works together to keep their extensive coral reef ecosystem thriving as it provides beneficial opportunities for all Fijian communities.

Immerse yourself in experiential learning as you assist in a coral replantation project with an environmental officer, hike through a rainforest village, and visit Levuka, the old capital of Fiji and also Fiji’s first UNESCO World Heritage Site. Explore the nature of Fiji as you swim through natural water holes at Colo-I-Suva Rainforest National Park and identify various bird and plant species in Fiji’s largest National Park.
