• English in the United Kingdom

Open to ALL Ontario High School Students!

London, Bath, Stratford, Cambridge, and Edinburgh

What better place to study English than the UK, home to so many greats!  Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, JK Rowling, Robert Louis Stevenson, Jane Austen, CS Lewis, JRR Tolkien, and of course, Shakespeare!

We begin our journey in London, where we will stroll along the Thames, tour the famous Globe Theatre and see the changing of the guards at Buckingham Palace, the world-famous home of Queen Elizabeth II.  From London, we travel to Bath to visit the Jane Austen Centre before making our way to Cambridge to learn about the production of plays in an interactive workshop at an open air Shakespeare festival. Harry Potter fan? Take a trip down Diagon Alley in Edinburgh, Scotland and discover the café where JK Rowling wrote the first Potter book. Celebrate the arts at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, the biggest celebration of arts and culture in the world!
