Join us on a road trip to the Maritimes where the study of literature comes to life! Visit the world famous Bay of Fundy to witness the world’s highest tides. Explore botanical gardens, hike the Grand Falls Gorge and take a boat ride on the Saint-John river, all while earning your credit.

Learn about the human history of New Brunswick and other related regions.

SHUBENACADIE WILDLIFE PARK

Visit this 40 hectare park home to about 90 species of mammals and birds.

BOAT TOUR SAINT-JOHN RIVER

Enjoy a scenic, guided boat tour of Fredericton’s Saint-John River.

HOPEWELL ROCKS

Located along the Bay of Fundy, witness the world’s highest tides.

EDMUNDSTON BOTANICAL GARDENS

Learn everything about various types of plants and their multiple benefits: therapeutic, cosmetic and culinary.

MANDATORY DATES

Online Access

Students receive access to the online learning platform and will begin working on their introductory assignments.

June 25

Orientation and First Class

Parents, students and teachers meet in the morning to review travel expectations and the itinerary. Teachers and students meet in the afternoon for their first class and to work on introductory assignments.

June 26 – August 1

Introductory Independent Learning Online

Students will work independently to complete and submit assignments. Teachers will be available to answer questions through the online platform.

August 17-19

Post-Trip Online Classes

Teachers and students will interact online as students participate in direct teaching, group activities, discussions and present assessments.
