Join us on a road trip to the Maritimes where the study of biology comes to life! Visit the world-famous Bay of Fundy to witness the world’s highest tides. Join an Environmental Officer at the Bedford Institute of Oceanography on a tour of Canada’s largest centre for Ocean Research. Explore botanical gardens, hike the Grand Falls Gorge and take a boat ride on the Saint-John River, all while earning your credit.

BEDFORD INSTITUTE OF OCEANOGRAPHY
Take part in an Educational Program at Canada’s largest centre for ocean research.
SHUBENACADIE WILDLIFE PARK
Visit this 40 hectare park home to about 90 species of mammals and birds.
BOAT TOUR SAINT-JOHN RIVER
Enjoy a scenic, guided boat tour of Fredericton’s Saint-John River.
Located along the Bay of Fundy, witness the world’s highest tides.
EDMUNDSTON BOTANICAL GARDENS

Students receive access to the online learning platform and will begin working on their introductory assignments.
Orientation and First Class
Parents, students and teachers meet in the morning to review travel expectations and the itinerary. Teachers and students meet in the afternoon for their first class and to work on introductory assignments.
June 26 – August 1
Introductory Independent Learning Online
Students will work independently to complete and submit assignments. Teachers will be available to answer questions through the online platform.
Post-Trip Online Classes
Teachers and students will interact online as students participate in direct teaching, group activities, discussions and present assessments.
