COURSE OVERVIEW

New York City is home to a diverse population that represents many of the world’s religions. You will see firsthand how the city is bustling with different traditions and beliefs. You will learn directly from New Yorkers about life in a multicultural and multi-faith city. Visits to the United Nations and the 9/11 Memorial & Museum will challenge students to think critically about how religious affairs impact international policy.
Evenings will be full of unparalleled entertainment, including dinner and jazz at the famed Cotton Club, a live performance at the legendary Apollo Theater, and a trip to the Empire State Building’s Observation Deck.
