COURSE OVERVIEW

I can’t even describe how amazing these trips are, I’ve done two and this one especially changed me for life. An unforgettable experience with the most wonderful people in the world, students and staff alike!

We begin our journey in London, where we will stroll along the Thames, tour the famous Globe Theatre and see the changing of the guards at Buckingham Palace. From London, we travel to Bath to visit the Jane Austen Centre before making our way to Cambridge to learn about the production of plays in an interactive workshop at an open air Shakespeare festival.

Harry Potter fan? Take a trip down Diagon Alley in Edinburgh and discover the café where JK Rowling wrote the first Potter book. From Stonehenge to Stratford, museums to parks, fall in love with literature all over again as you earn your English credit while exploring renowned authors and greats.

Orientation and First Class

Parents, students and teachers meet in the morning to review travel expectations and the itinerary. Teachers and students meet in the afternoon for their first class and to work on introductory assignments.

(approx 10 hours)

Independent Learning Online

Students will work independently to complete and submit assignments. Teachers will be available to answer questions through the online platform.

Teachers and students will interact online as students participate in direct teaching, group activities, discussions and present assessments.

Students enjoy lunch and free time in the trendy Covent Gardens.

AFTERNOON EXCURSION

Students visit the Tate Modern, the most-visited art gallery in the world.

AFTERNOON ACTIVITY

Students explore Shakespeare’s world famous Globe Theatre playhouse for which he wrote, through the connected means of performance and education.

DINNER

Enjoy dinner at a local London Restaurant.

EVENING

The group takes in a live theatre performance.
