Discover Italy – Grade 11/12 (July) 2023: For-Credit Student Trips

Discover Italy

(Summer 2024 Registration and Details Coming Soon)

COURSE OVERVIEW

Today, we hopped on buses for what is probably one of the most spectacular drives in the world! We traveled along the coastline until we reached the town of Amalfi.

Read your way through Italy, taking in breathtaking sights and delicious food. From eating gelato on the Spanish Steps to eating handmade pasta in a Trattoria, your inner foodie will be in heaven. We will explore the ruins of Pompeii, wander the cities on the Amalfi Coast, and read and write literature inspired by the natural beauty and quaint villages.

You can admire Michelangelo’s David at the Galleria dell’Accademia and the famous colourful houses in Cinque Terre. In Verona we will see the romantic setting that inspired Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet. Our trip will finish in Venice where our course reading of Othello comes to life!
