Spend a week in sunny Florida at the IMG Academy, earning a credit while also training in Baseball, Football, Soccer, Rugby, Tennis or Golf. While you are at IMG you will also develop a personalized Weight Lifting and Nutrition Program with the assistance of IMG Staff.

Open to ALL Ontario High School Students!
Take your athletic training to the next level as you head down to the IMG Academy this March Break. Spend a week at this world-class facility equipped with 20+ multi-sport fields, 50+ tennis courts, a 5,000-seat state-of-the-art stadium, an 18-hole golf course, and two 10,000+ square foot weight rooms.
Train for two hours everyday in the sport of your choice. Choose to specialize in rugby, baseball, football, soccer, golf, or tennis. Enhance your performance further with weight room training and by creating a personal nutrition plan to follow.
Take in some action and fun as you head over to Dunedin and watch a Toronto Blue Jays spring training game. Then enjoy a relaxing day at the famous Siesta Key Beach. Be sure to keep an eye out for professional athletes training on site as many NFL, MLB, and MLS stars train at the IMG Academy during their off-season!

February 9, 2019: Online Access
Students will receive an e-mail providing them with information on how to access the online learning platform and begin working on their pre-trip assignments. The pre-trip assignments are due during the first pre-trip class.February 23, 2019: Orientation & First Class
Parents and students are required to attend the morning program orientation. Only students are required to attend the afternoon introductory class. They will submit the pre-trip assignments, participate in all activities and complete all course tasks and will be introduced to additional pre-trip assignments due before departure.March 2, 2019: Pre-Trip Online Class
Students are required to individually complete and submit pre-trip assignments prior to departure. Teachers will be available to answer any questions during designated hours.March 9 to March 16, 2019: Travel Days
Students are required to complete assignments as they visit sites and participate in the activities during the travel days. Students are also required to collect information for their summative assignment throughout the trip. The summative assignments are due during the post-trip online class.March 30, 2019: Post-Trip Online Class
Students are required to complete and submit their summative assignment online. Teachers will be available to answer any questions during designated hours.Program Fees
Program Cost: $3,490.00
Athlete deluxe medical and cancellation insurance (mandatory) add $175.00

Please note: It is EduTravel and school board policy that all students travelling on extended trips have both cancellation and medical insurance in place. A specialized student insurance protection plan will be automatically added to the cost of the program fee upon registration. Please know there is an option to opt out of the insurance policy by filling and returning in the “Insurance Opt-Out Form” along with proof of valid insurance coverage from another source.Visa Students may be required to pay an additional fee.
