Note: Two weeks prior to the program’s start date, registered students and parents will receive start-up information directly from their teacher. This information will include how to access the course outline, pre-trip assignments, program itinerary, packing list, media release form, and other pertinent documents for signature. Your teacher will be available through email to answer any curriculum questions.
** Students are required to attend the mandatory pre and post-trip classes that will take place at a location within your region.
Reading list will be sent out during the month of May.
Online Orientation: Tuesday, June 19
Students must login to the online platform by Tuesday, June 19 to begin their introductory assignments. Their teacher will contact them with the information to access the online course prior to Tuesday, June 19.
Pre-trip in-class: Tuesday, July 3 to Friday, July 6
Students will be required to submit introductory assignments on July 3. Assessment will be ongoing throughout the pre-trip classes.
Travel: Saturday, July 7 to Friday, July 20
Students will be completing assessments throughout the travel portion.
Post-trip in-class: Monday, July 23, Tuesday, July 24, and Wednesday, July 25
Students will complete all daily assessments and submit their summative assignments by July 25.
