• Explore Korea

Open to ALL Ontario High School Students!

Meet the East with us on this epic cultural getaway to South Korea, where Asian tradition and modern pop culture coincide. Start your journey in the vibrant capital city of Seoul, and visit the presidential Blue House, then hop over to Korea’s most famous palace, Gyeongbokgung Palace. Experience the cityscape from N Seoul Tower atop Namsan Mountain, and enjoy an evening on the bustling Han River. Tour the campuses of South Korea’s prestigious universities. Interact with locals at culture hubs including Myeongdong, Hongdae, Itaewon, and Insadong, and try out your bargaining skills at the Dongdaemun Night Market. Get a glimpse of North Korea and learn about the divided peninsula on a tour of the Joint Security Area. Take in the slow life of Jeju Island where you’ll get to relax on black sand beaches, observe the lifestyle of the island’s sea-women, and explore the world’s longest lava tubes. Taste some fresh seafood at Korea’s largest seafood market, Jagalchi Market, in the port city of Busan. Watch a game of baseball, one of Korea’s most popular sports. Take a trip back into time to Gyeongju, Korea’s “museum without walls”. Participate in a special getaway to Pyeongchang, the host city of the 2018 Winter Olympics.

Get the best of both worlds with the Ontario International Languages Curriculum and in-destination cultural immersion. Study a new language, interact with locals, and engage with your surroundings.
